Henry IV, Part 2
The young prince Hal has had his last fling with his wild bunch of ruffians including Falstaff. His father is ill and dying and it is time for the young prince to step up and take his place as king. One last rebellion to be quenched and then hopefully peace will reign again under one of England’s most famous kings - Henry V.

Young actors will receive instruction in acting, movement, stage combat, dance, clowning, sewing and scene painting. Guest instructors might also visit from NYC companies and college acting programs. The session will be centered around doing a full production of Two Gentlemen of Verona, and actors will be cast in roles before the end of June so they can begin memorizing their lines before the session starts. The session will end in an outdoor performance for the public.
Each day goes from 9:00am till 4:00pm. Early drop-off is also possible for an extra small fee. Campers provide their own lunches, but CST provides snacks and drinks throughout the day. Plenty of time is given for outdoor play, and rehearsals and classes may also be held outdoors as weather permits.
We are a children's theater company working in Rockland County, NY. We put on 5 productions each season between September and May, and we run Summer Shakespeare Intensives.
We were totally unprepared for the sheer delight of your production. I congratulate you for the tremendous job you have been doing, the obvious joy you have given so many children and the obvious directorial skills to bring it all to life. -- Joan Hooker, painter
I was very impressed with the atmosphere you seem to have created, of camaraderie and working together for a serious purpose. -- Peter Royston, director
The passion you have for what you do shows in every little detail, but also in every breathless twinkling of understanding as Shakespeare's words engage something deep in the actors and therefore in us. -- Grey Johnson, actor and parent
Should Sir Andrew have been played just as it was by an adult in a professional production anywhere, it would have been hailed as one of the finest performances of the role ever. -- Peter Dalto, Rockland Center for the Arts

Post-apocalyptic Macbeth. Star Wars Coriolanus. We have explored many fun themes and eras, from the 1920s to Game of Thrones to basic Elizabethan. Each one helps us bring the stories home to our audiences in different ways. Which was your favorite? What would you like to see that you haven't yet seen? Send us an email.
CST actors take part in every aspect of production - from set painting to lighting design, costume construction and assistant directing. Each new perspective on the process gives students new ideas as to how collaborative art is made.
